all the love i could handle

When a beloved family dog unexpectedly gives birth and abandons her litter, two headstrong children stop at nothing to get their distracted mother's attention and keep the puppies alive.

Based on the life and work of Kathleen Collins, trailblazing Black filmmaker (Losing Ground, 1982) all the love i could handle explores the balance of motherhood and work. Ruby Rose Collins tells a story from her mother’s childhood with mastery and grace.
